For the last decade, US 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project has listened to the needs of resident and commuters and conducted extensive studies to understand how congestion can be alleviated. The US 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project is one of many ambitious projects that have improved traffic conditions for Las Vegas and Clark County, and continues to improve US 95.

US 95 Widening
More lanes added from Washington Avenue to Kyle Canyon Road means more freeway capacity.
HOV Access Ramps

Installing HOV ramps means a less crowded road for single occupancy and high occupancy vehicles.
Improved Connectivity

New interchanges at Kyle Canyon, Skye Canyon Park Drive, and Centennial Bowl make US 95 and CC 215 more accessible to commuters.
Aesthetics

The commuter experience is enhanced with community-driven aesthetic plans to beautify the corridor.
Stormwater System

The US 95 project includes enhanced stormwater safety to keep roads and neighborhoods safe in the event of a storm emergency.
Enhanced Technology

Ramp metering, traffic cams, radar detection, emergency vehicle detectors, dynamic message sign; technology has been integrated in the all projects to enhance safety and provide a smoother commute.
Improved Travel Time Reliability
With more lanes, HOV ramps, and improved connectivity, travel times will become more reliable.
Reduced Emissions

Less congestion and shorter trip times equals less idling and reduced emissions, improving the health of Clark County.
Improved Safety

Safety is at the forefront of all improvement efforts. NDOT strives to determine the safest highway solutions for commuters.
