ZipCash:  Drive Now. Pay-By-Mail.  

ZipCash offers a pay-by-mail option at higher rates for customers who do not have a TollTag. TollTag customers receive the lowest toll rates on NTTA roads; ZipCash customers pay at least 50 percent more than TollTag users.

When a motorist without a TollTag drives through tolling points, high-speed cameras take digital images of the license plate, and the tolls are billed to the registered owner of the vehicle. 

Texas law requires toll  bills be mailed to the registered owner of the vehicle; all motorists are responsible for maintaining correct and up-to-date vehicle registration information with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles.

ZipCash is just one of two ways to pay for NTTA toll road use. Drivers can avoid higher ZipCash toll rates and potential late fees by getting a TollTag.

ZipCash customers receive bills monthly and have 25 days to pay the invoice. Late fees will be assessed for payment after 25 days.

ZipCash invoices can be paid online, by mail, phone, or in person at any  NTTA Customer Service Center, or at a participating Fidelty/Moneygram location or at a Regional TollTag Partner location.

Repeated failure to pay ZipCash bills can result in the driver being identified as a Habitual Violator, resulting in toll enforcements that include late fees having their vehicle registration renewal blocked, and/or have their vehicle banned from NTTA roads (includes fine of up to $500) and/or . and/or vehicle impoundment.
